We are working on learning the 10 Commandments. I am hoping that it will help with some of our attitudes around here. You should have heard us on the first day arguing over whether C was going to read and write the 10 Commandments. I had to stop, back up, and say a little prayer that I would approach this in the right way.
Here are a few links that I was able to print some information and a craft to reinforce what we learned.
From DLTK:
http://www.dltk-bible.com/guides/god_saves_his_people4.htm with plenty of links.

And from Free Lessons Plans: Look at the list on the right. 10 Commandments is at the bottom. I used the lesson plan to give me ideas of questions to ask.

And your favorite Bible.
There is a ton of information out there and many people have done this study more in depth than what we did. I wanted her to learn what the 10 Commandments where. We still have time to understand all the details surrounding them.
What I learned while doing this was that my daughter had heard of the 10 Commandments but she really could not go into a lot of detail. Some were obvious to her and others needed a bit more conversation. Now when something goes wrong in the house, someone is not being honest, or someone is not obeying she easily falls on her 10 Commandments.
Hopefully I can post some pictures when Daddy gets here with his camera. Maybe he can fix mine.
